This concerns a young Palestinian refugee child in Cairo. Their situation was brought to the attention of Pont de Mer Humanitaire by two humanitarian associations operating in Egypt.

The identified need concerned specialized reconstructive ear surgery, requiring precise medical referral, an appropriate hospital assessment, and concrete organization of the care pathway.

A rapid, structured, and realistic response

This child’s situation required more than just finding a hospital. It was necessary to identify a specialized medical solution, mobilize a private hospital facility, facilitate communication, and concretely organize the pathway in Cairo.
